Writing Memos
For the group project in this course, my group will be presenting on memos. We have divided the work up for the four of us so each will handle a specific topic. The topics are: What is a memo?, How to construct a memo, an example of a bad memo, and an example of a good memo. It seems we all have a similar goal in mind for the end result and we're working well together. We have decided that for tomorrow we will have the majority of our work complete so then we can focus on fixing mistakes in the PowerPoint or making changes. We will also most likely discuss with one another what we individually plan to talk about with our assigned topics.

Instruction Essay: Bed Making 101
For those who are perhaps domestically challenged, I will be writing instructions on how to make a bed. Of course there may be some variance on how or what to include but then again what doesn't have some variance to it?? So, I will be giving the bed arranging basics... do with them what you will.
P.S. Does anyone actually make their bed every day or is that just a myth? If you do I commend you, my friend.

Assignment: Document Analysis and Critique
For our first assignment in which we will be analyzing technical writing documents, I have chosen a user manual for a Netgear Wi-Fi Range Extender. As it was a purchase I made, I have some experience with having read the directions when setting up my wi-fi extender. I think the fact that I was a part of the audience for this document might help because I know what things about the user manual helped and what things could have been improved on for clarity.
Here is a link to the guide although I also have a hard copy of it. However the hard copy is a lot shorter and seems to have a lot less information.
